Come Share A Texas Tradition with

Portraits in the Bluebonnets

I love bluebonnets! As a Texan, I eagerly await the coming of spring heralded by a sea of blue along the highway!

As a mom, I could not go a year without portraits of my beautiful daughters in the bluebonnets.

If you have tried capturing photos of your children in the bluebonnets, then you know that it can be a difficult task!
Bluebonnets do not grow in ideal "photographic" conditions.

As a professional photographer, I am experienced in creating beautiful portraits of children,
but I am also experienced in capturing priceless bluebonnet portraits that are full of color!

You are invited to join me for

FAQ

What should I wear? Your child's face and the bluebonnets themselves will be the focus of the portraits. Your clothing should NOT compete with them for attention! I recommend simple clothing in solid colors. Jeans with a solid-colored shirt look nice.. For girls, either the same, or light-colored sundresses will look very nice. Please avoid very bright colors and busy patterns.

Are these the only times available? No. As long as the bluebonnets are around, we can shoot mini-sessions. Sessions can only be scheduled in the mornings and late afternoon s, as these provide the best natural light for these portraits. The bright, overhead sun of midday causes raccoon eyes, squinting, and washes the color out of the flowers.

What if it rains? That's a definite possibility. If the weather looks bad, you will be notified of an alternate "rain date."

Will you be coming to The Woodlands? My schedule will not allow me to come to The Woodlands during this short gap in the rain. I watch the weather forecast daily, and I will plan a day in The Woodlands during the next dry gap that fits my schedule - as long as the bluebonnets are still around. If you want to be sure you get your session in, then come to Conroe!.

Can we have more than 20 minutes? We want to do lots of different poses, etc... No. One way that I can pass on the savings of no session fee and discounted print prices is by grouping several clients together and doing mini-sessions in a promotion like this. So, a mini-session is just that -- mini. You might be surprised at what we can accomplish in a very short period. There is not a lot of variety to be found in a bluebonnet session!  If you would like more time or more posing options, then you are welcome to schedule a custom session at a time/day more convenient to you. Session fees start at $225 and provide around an hour of photography time.

How do we get to see the images? The images will be in an online gallery for you to preview. (you will be emailed the link.) They will be online for one week, and you will need to place your order within that time period. All images will have been "pretouched" for color and blemish correction. (Do not worry about scratches, bruises, etc.) All images from the promotion will be in the same gallery. Private galleries are not available for this promotion.

How do we order? You can order directly online with a credit card or with paypal.

What if we don't like the images? I am confident that you will like your portraits. This promotion is open to all of our previous clients, so you should have already worked with me and should feel confident in my work. There will be no refunds.

Do we have to have an appointment? YES! You must reserve a time for your mini-session. I am offering limited days/times for these sessions, and I need to know how many people to expect.

Where will the sessions be held? You will receive directions when you reserve your session time. The sessions will take place in Conroe.

How do I make a reservation/appointment? Click the Buy Now button above to book your session and pay online. You may also  email Deb to schedule your time. Let us know the date (Sun-Tues) that you are interested in. We will email you back with an exact time for your session.
